Verandas can be  custom built to fit a desired location and purpose or you may simply wish to return your original veranda to its former glory.

When building from scratch we can either work from a plan or assist you in the design process.

Stumps and bearers are used as foundations as they allow air to flow under the boards.

Posts, rails and steps are designed and made to suit each application.

19mm tongue & grove or decking is used in this application to provide adequate strength, preventing boards from moving and splitting.

The boards are installed, with the joins located in the centre of the joist, and a string line is used to ensue that the boards are straight.

The boards are then evenly spaced, checked for straightness once again and then fixed in position.

The degree of sanding required will depend on the timber that is used in the construction.

Sikens or oil based products are generally used to enhance the beauty and life of the timber.
