Decking is generally customised built to fit a desired location and purpose.

Posts, rails and steps are designed and made to suit each application.

19mm decking is used in this application to provide adequate strength, preventing boards from moving and splitting.

The boards are installed, with the joins located in the centre of the joist, and a string line is used to ensue that the boards are straight.

The boards are then evenly spaced, checked for straightness once again and then fixed in position.

The degree of sanding required prior to coating depends on the timber that is used in the construction.

Sikens or oil based products are generally used to enhance the beauty and life of the timber.
